"had a disappointing evening tonight. We were so excited for dinner, made reservations for the 9 of us.. then today, one friend drove 2 hours to surprise us and wanted to join us for dinner.. But we were told we should have called ahead, they had no extra chairs! We just needed one chair! one chair. I was shocked; we all were... After about 10 very awkward minutes, our friend had to leave... because they couldn't get us one extra chair! our waitress told us we should have called ahead..... ????... 1. if we knew we were having an extra person we would have... but 2. if we had, does that mean they would have gotten a chair?? makes no sense. Plus, we were there over an hour and saw a round table with NOBODY sitting at it the entire time we were there... no offer to bring a chair from the porch... nothing. We knew they could have found us one chair if they wanted to make the effort... Top it off, our meal was good... but not spectacular. Needless to say, none of us will be going back. very disappointing."
