"A drive thru in Harlem?! A 'real ' fast food place IN the tiny little two street? We aren 't perpetual fast food junkies, but hey, who doesn 't like a break from cooking every now and then? And if you get it CLOSER to the house it 's more likely to be hot, right..????...Right?...???Well... We had high hopes. Not expecting perfection, but hoping that it would be as good as or similar to other fast food. And SOME days, it is. ?On a positive note, the day that my daughter and I went inside to dine, I can say that it was very busy and the staff were working very hard to keep the place neat stocked. There was a person wiping down tables, filling up the coke machine lids straws, napkins and picking up anything out of place. The staff behind the counter were in motion nonstop. Taking orders, putting things into place, and helping people. No one seemed unhappy or rushed, no one was idle or messing with the phone which I have seen at other places and the managers or who I assumed were the managers were right there, with them. If anything, they seemed a little more frantic than the staff did. ?That day, our food was hot as we ordered it. It took a minute, but because it was how we wanted it, we didn 't mind. It was a positive experience. Both my daughter and I was pleased with our choice for lunch.Conversely, on a 'lazy ' day DH texted to ask what I wanted from there as he an appointment which ran late and though he had planned to grill, he simply wasn 't up to it. He had wanted to try the place and it seemed a good time.I replied shortly, he was home with our orders. This time however despite a long wait time in the drive thru the food was not only incorrect, it was cold. ?‍He was unimpressed.I offered to take it back. He declined. He instead warmed his food in the oven as the microwave makes it take really funky ?I fed the burger that that had mayo on it to the dog as that is the proper thing to do with anything that has mayo on it ? to which the dog was thrilled. He gave it five stars We assumed it was a fluke. It was busy. Everyone has an off day. All that jazz. Didn 't love it, but hey sometimes, it be like that, right? ?‍After a time, we decided we 'd give em another shot. Probably one of those days where you simply don 't feel like cooking AND you also don 't feel like driving this is where the appeal of going to this place has the biggest pull. ?Again the drive thru.Again... incorrect order. Long wait. Cold food.Only this time, I was over it. ?I made the trip back to the store with the burger with mayo despite the pleading eyes of my dog who really wished I wouldn 't and told them that it was wrong.I noted that the cashier had gotten it correct it was on the receipt ordered but had not been made that way OR maybe someone else had gotten the one made for me who knows? Not me. But I didn 't want it and I didn 't want another. They could take it off and put the money back into the account. ?I don 't enjoy feeding the dog $7 burgers if I wanted to do that I 'd buy the meat, make it myself and mix it with his food ? Just sayin! LolThe manager was consulted and they refunded me. They apologized. To be fair they were busy and it seemed they didn 't have enough people.I was very happy they didn 't want to debate me and they didn 't make it complicated.Since then, we have gone through the drive thru without issue TWICE!! ?My dog has been sad they have managed to avoid all mayo around my burgers though he is thrilled they have stopped carrying onion rings as the french fries there are really gross. ?It is impressive that something can be fried so very much that is NOT crispy or crunchy but also be so soggy and greasy... it 's like the heat is too low so they are boiled not fried and they just sit in the grease so the consistency is that of overtly ripe, green pea mush. ?But it 's exactly what someone wants, I guess..? ?‍Either way... it 's a drive thru IN Harlem. If we"
