"Let’s start with my in-laws. My mother-in-law had the Strawberry Chicken Salad, which was excellent—far superior to what you’d find at other places. My father-in-law and sister-in-law shared a pasta dish, Fettuccine Alfredo. My sister-in-law exclaimed, “Wow! This is so good! Usually pasta is heavy, but this is light!” To which my father-in-law added, “Oh wow, this is amazing! What’s in this sauce? I just can’t get enough of it!” Now onto my wife’s dish. She had the Pear and Cheese Fiocchi, and she loved it! She raved about how the pear, cheese, and pasta worked harmoniously together. As for me, I ordered a burger. Given that this is primarily a pasta and pizza place, I was pleasantly surprised by how well-executed the burger was. It was cooked exactly as I requested and was incredibly juicy—a truly fine burger. I opted for garlic fries on the side, and let me take a moment to emphasize this: when I think of garlic fries, I imagine a greasy, buttery mess. But these fries arrived perfectly clean and fresh, without the usual oil saturation. They were fantastically flavored and golden brown and crispy. I can't wait to come back and take some home! We decided to try a few desserts: key lime pie, tiramisu, and peach cobbler. The key lime pie was good, but I personally preferred my wife’s version—no offense to the chef! However, my father-in-law didn’t agree with me on that! The tiramisu was delightful; my sister-in-law particularly loved the espresso flavor and how vibrant it tasted. My wife also enjoyed it. Now, the peach cobbler was undeniably the best dessert I’ve had in a restaurant. I’m at a loss for words; if the ice cream on top could talk, it would say something like, “Take my breath away, and I’ll stop the world to melt with you!” My wife had to pause and roll her eyes in delight, while my mother-in-law said, “That’s the clear winner right there!” Overall, we absolutely loved this place. We visit the Delta once a year, and it's a shame we hadn't tried Manny's before. We will definitely be back next year for more!"
