"Where to start??? Okay, the establishment is awesome. Meaning, the feel of the place is so relaxed and clean. It's easy to navigate. The bathroom is great and very clean (wave a hand and a new toilet seat cover appears! . The food? Spot on, everytime. The twisters are incredible. I love the items you can buy now (truffle oil, dog treats, etc . The heaters outside arefantastic even below freezing. The staff is INCREDIBLE. I have never been somewhere before where the staff laughs and jokes andtreats you like a long lost friend. I've been to both NNB locations and honestly, sorry Tapp! Kilmarnock has better staff, handsdown. Very chill and easy to talk to. I was there on my 14th anniversary with my husband and they went above and beyond to makeit special red velvet cake? Yes please!!! We own a second home in town and we are making NNB here a requisite stop any time wecome down. Keep being awesome, because no one will ever outdo you guys!!!!"

"The food is excellent here. But I?ve had issues the past couple of times. I tried to call in an order and was told they couldn?t take orders over the phone because their machine was down.. told me I could come in and place one?I live about 30 minutes away,so i was already on the way there.. so I physically go in, wait about ten minutes to even be acknowledged to place an order andwas told they can?t do to go orders at all. (There were two couples dining in) I asked if they could ring me up as dine in andthen get a box to go?I was told no. Second time, I placed a to go order and was told it?ll take 30 minutes..I go in to pick myfood up, see my food is ready on the counter, and have to wait an additional 20 minutes for a specific person to ring me up (when there was someone else available) this has Happened when hardly anyone was in the restaurant both times.. and no one isever apologetic?third time, called in an order and was told 45 minutes, needless to say, my step daughter was still in there anhour and 15 minutes after I had placed my order, and it still Wasn?t ready. I?m sure they?re short of help, but it?s a hassleevery time to order from there ????"

"When we returned to our hotel, my husband realized he had left his phone on our table. Thankfully, the young man who cleared our table handed it over to management for safekeeping, and I would give him five stars just for that. As you might have guessed from the mention of our hotel, we were visiting from out of town. I had somehow gotten the impression that the restaurant was by the water and served crabs and barbeque. I was pleasantly surprised to find that we were actually surrounded by a cornfield, and the "cues" referred to pool tables instead. The staff was friendly and took excellent care of us, and we thoroughly enjoyed our dinner. Oh, and just for the sake of sharing, we saw a total of five rainbows—two double rainbows and another one while we were on our way to dinner and back. I can’t promise you’ll see rainbows if you dine at KC's, but I can guarantee that you’ll enjoy your meal."

"We have lunch at the Car Wash every time we're in Kilmarnock. We love the She Crab soup, Tuna sandwich with wasabi mayo and Oyster Poor Boy sandwich. Sweet Potato and Shoe String fries. The cakes are delicious too. Susan and her entire staff are so friendly and attentive. Yummmmm"

"We dined at the restaurant but did not stay at the Inn, which is situated in a beautiful setting. A leisurely walk through the grounds heightened our expectations for the dining experience. The restaurant is nicely decorated and we were promptly seated upon our arrival (we had a reservation). However, the food was mediocre and overpriced for the quality. The presentation of our dishes was disappointing. The crabmeat appetizer was served as a steak instead of small balls, which was unappetizing. The main dishes seemed haphazardly piled up. The drinks were expensive at $18 each and came with too much ice. Desserts like the ice cream were served in small portion sizes in old plastic cups. The $200 dinner (including only 1 glass of wine) was not worth the price. In summary, the food and drinks were not worth the money."

"This is a hometown, locally owned restaurant. It's a diner vibe with friendly staff, fresh made, home-cooked favorites and fast service. Everything we ordered was fresh and tasty from fried Oysters, to turkey dinner, to chicken fried steak, to wings. Kids menu is great with fresh pizza. The dough is homemade. The special appetizer of Philly cheese steak egg rolls with a smoked hot pepper jam was fantastic! Now, let's talk about the pies! They are too much, in a good way! We tried 5 pies: keylime, coconut cream, lemon meringue, chocolate pecan and Reese peanut butter. Wow, wow, wow, they were all perfectly sweetened, beautifully decorated and soooooo fresh. The owner makes them fresh daily. We will be back!!!!!"

"I love this restaurant! We ordered the fried oysters, bacon wrapped scallops, shrimps / Jalapeno Poppers and Steak Sub and it was all excellent! Note: The women's bath was extremely clean and that's something I never see in restaurants anymore. This place is definitely a new favorite!"

"We love their iced coffee, apple pies, French fries, fish sandwich, frozen Coke, double cheese burger, and quarter pounder. We would like spicier sausage to eat for breakfast there. We do get sausage biscuits and hash rounds at Hardee's before going to McDonald's for pies and iced coffee. Waiting on spicier sausage Ronald. I like the people lately at McDonald's. They and Hardees seem to have upped their game with better staff."
