"I intended to visit El Torito on a Tuesday evening, but the restaurant was quite crowded. So, I returned a little earlier on Wednesday and had the place nearly to myself. It seems they really do a thriving business on Taco Tuesdays. The chips and salsa came with a cup of pinto beans, which were tasty, albeit a bit salty. I ordered the smothered green chile burrito, and it was delicious! The chiles had no heat, but they were packed with flavor. The plate came with a generous portion of refried beans and rice. The tortilla wrapping the burrito was very light, and when the cook stepped out for a break, I asked if it was homemade, which they confirmed. To top off the meal, I received a piece of honey candy from the local Queen Bee Gardens with my check. I left feeling very impressed with this restaurant and satisfied. I will definitely be back!"
