"Taggart's is a cozy little spot nestled in the canyons about 5-10 minutes east from Morgan on i84. The spot is unassuming if you're to pull up during off hours, a little cabin shack with a wide parking lot might make you think the place is a secrethideaway with just a few regulars hunched over coffees in the cabin-style buildings interior. Show up when the doors are openthough and the story is quite the contrary; A the parking is filled and the interior is bustling with visitors and staffalike. Taggart's boasts a comfortable interior, majestic patio, and peacocks at the entryway all add into the mystique of theplace. Signs posted about rattlesnake awareness and safety gives the spot an additional charm, wether you have a run in or notyou'll certainly be keeping your eye out. The service was prompt in my experience, and the food was pleasant. A heavy servingof 8 Mozarella Sticks started my order and followed up with a plate of Fish Chips. The sticks were great, but the friedhalibut was in my opinion quite lacking, a seemingly juvenile presentation of the dish with ground halibut instead of batteredfillets. It was alright, nothing to write home about, though spying on my neighbors burger--a great looking plate that wasstacked with meat and cheese--I was prompted to give Taggart's a second shot in the culinary department. All in all, I thinkTaggart's is more about the location and the romantic appeal of having a nice dish up in the mountains, a bit of an adventurethat doesn't require you spending an arm and a leg to run out to Park City for a delicate presentation. Taggart's provides whatyou pay for, and offers a comfy rustic atmosphere that will be sure to spur conversation between friends or family."
