"My exposure with this place was very brief as I was traveling and I needed to stop by to have a drink and use their WiFi and washroom. I noticed the place is very clean, and organized! The staff are very helpful and friendly which make me go back to this place for a proper meal in my next trip! By the way, I had a fresh Pandan Coconut in there which was quite refreshing in this hot and dry weather in Oak View. I am keeping that 1 star for the time that I actually taste their Thai food, I am a fan and I would love to try and evaluate the authenticity of the Thai food in their menu, so wait for it, I?ll be back! ;"

"Truly it depends on how you like your pizza, so if you don?t like a regular thin pizza crust you probably won?t enjoy the pizza here. Otherwise the pizza is really tasty and the ingredients are fresh. The pastas and the eggplant are delicious and I highly recommend the eggplant if you want to try something different. They offer cream soda here as well and a strawberry shortcake that?s a lot bigger than you?d expect. The shortcake is amazing and can be split between 4-5 people. The staff here is also really friendly and quick to bring everything you request."

"I decided to visit this restaurant over the weekend, and I'm so glad I did! I went on both Saturday and Sunday to sample the menu, and everything was delicious! The place was impeccably clean. Cynthia was fantastic and very friendly—I could even see her smile behind her mask! The rest of the staff was also very welcoming. Overall, it was a lovely experience. "This charming, old-school breakfast and lunch spot in Oak View offers generous portions at affordable prices reminiscent of the past. I'm uncertain if they have reopened since the Covid shutdown in spring 2020, but it's definitely worth a visit if you're heading to Ojai, where prices tend to be higher. "We ate at El Charro because the wait for Casa de Lago was too long and honestly, I'm glad we tried El Charro because the food was really great! I had the chile relleno burrito and it was delicious! I have this theory that if the chips and salsa at a Mexican restaurant are good, then the food will be good too! The salsa bar was awesome and so were the chips and guacamole! I had the chile relleno burrito and an horchata and they were delicious and authentic, but not too greasy! Overall great experience. I'll be back and will definitely recommend it to others!"
