"The sandwich I had was absolutely incredible—one of the most delicious meals I've ever tasted. However, I can't overlook the six surgeries I ended up needing afterward. The ordeal I went through at the hands of a high school employee is something I wouldn't wish on my worst enemy. I find it hard to believe there are people who behave this way. Now, I'm sitting here in Mercy Hospital, using my toes to type because my fingers have all been broken. This kid, while handing me that foot-long sandwich, intentionally bent my hands back, causing injuries that required the best surgeons in Iowa to work together to repair. I've had three different surgeons collaborating to fix my hands, and I still have more surgeries ahead, including one scheduled for tomorrow. If I don’t make it through that one, I hope this kid realizes that what happened was completely unacceptable. I understand that working in fast food can be stressful, but there are absolutely no circumstances that justify this kind of behavior. I sincerely hope this review reaches that kid’s college someday, and he is made to account for the impact of his actions on my life. So, to answer the age-old question: yes, I enjoyed the food. No, I did not enjoy the pain that came with it."
