"Locals and I really enjoy this place. Ms. Griggs and her team manage the counter and handle the orders and staff, while MaMa D knows everyone here. Each day features a different special. I've tried both the fried and grilled catfish, and they were delicious. The sides, like the salad and green beans, were good, although the green salad came with some questionable fake pink bacon. My colleagues ordered the BBQ pork ribs (I can't remember which day we had them) and a fried pork sandwich. I opted for a grilled cheese sandwich made with hoop cheese, which was surprisingly good. They offer plenty of snacks, chips, and drinks in their cooler. The staff is friendly, and the restaurant is conveniently located inside a gas station in Shannon, MS."
