"Used to love coming to eat here whenever I got the chance but I feel like the last couple of times I have gone to eat here the food has been extremely salty. The taste of the food would be great if there was way less salt. When I came here to eat in the fall the salt level on the food and wedding soup was perfect, I enjoyed the food very much, and recommended the people I know to come here for good Italian food. But the last couple times I’ve been here this year the wedding soup has been way too salty and is unbearable to eat along with the pasta dishes I ordered. I tried to give this place a second chance but it’s disappointing since this used to be my favorite Italian spot to eat at.

"Have stayed at Tara and eaten in the lovely formal dining room Ashley 's upstairs, several times. Always a special, and spectacular experience. Have wanted to try the more casual Stonewall 's downstairs, and finally made the trip. Boy, what a nice surprise. The service is as lovely as the formal dining room, and I 'm guessing the food comes from the same kitchen because everything was delicious. We split an appetizer of crab cakes. Our standard for crab cakes is what you find on the Maryland shore. We are always disappointed elsewhere, but try anyway. Unbelievable crab cakes here! For $10, get 3 slider-size, 1 inch thick crab cakes, full of chunks of crab, not flakes, no filler, and no metallic taste. Delicious sauce that has a little kick to it. Served with steamed spinach and red peppers. I would come back and have just this. 4 plates of them. Very nice bread basket with biscuits, rolls, breadsticks, etc, served with honey butter and pesto oil for dipping. Also a crock of Texas caviar ? , a bean salad, came with the bread. I ordered the seafood special, which was grilled fresh tuna topped with crab and shrimp in a butter sauce. The husband had the single lobster tail. Each came with choice of salad, choice of potato, and choice of vegetable. We split a dessert of vanilla ice cream topped with an espresso shot, and topped with whipped cream and crushed toffee. They had an interesting cocktail list, but we ordered a bottle of wine. Many affordable wines on the list. Sally, our server, was professional but still down to earth and funny. We 've had her at other visits when she was serving breakfast. A real gem."

"My parents and I have been going to thelmas pretty much since they opened and the food was always good. That all changed yesterday when our party of 6 had lunch there. The waitress took our order right away which was great. It's around 12:15 when we got there. A few of us got salads with our meal, the waitress forgot our salads so we had to ask for them. She brought our salads out and the salad was gross. The lettuce was soggy and wilted, it had a sprinkle of cheese and 2 cucumbers. We did not get our food until over an hour later. There was only maybe 3 other tables in the restaurant at that time so the kitchen was not overwhelmed. One ordered a chicken salad, his lettuce was wilted, his plate was hot like it was sitting under the heat lamp, the fries that came on his salad were not even there and his salad meal was smaller than our side salads. They did remake it for him because he had to complain to the server. One had pulled pork sandwich that was super dry and had no bbq sauce on it. One had a turkey melt and the turkey on it was so crunchy and dry it was barely edible. 2 had pasta meals and both had noodles that were crunchy. The only edible meal that our table received was a burger. Me and my daughter both ended up with stomach aches for the rest of the night because of the terrible food. The waitress kept telling us our food is coming but I am pretty sure most of it was sitting there under the heat lamps for too long. And maybe you need to coach your waitress on taking care of all the tables not just the one with the guy she was flirting with."
