"I used the restroom, and a sign said, "Please do not put toilet paper in the toilet. Place it in the bin!" What are they thinking? It's so disgusting. Is this really a restaurant in a third-world country? The bin was already full. Are we supposed to wipe and throw it in there? The health department really needs to investigate this place and see what goes on. I can't recommend this restaurant at all. To top it off, my husband's pizza was missing the white sauce; it just had the toppings. After eating two slices, he couldn't continue. And for $22.00, that’s unacceptable."

Moreover, this is the go-to late-night spot in town! Tamara, the owner/operator, is often on hand to ensure you have a wonderful experience. She adores dogs, so you know she’s great! Just mention that you’d like to enjoy a tasty taco, and she’ll have a menu in your hands in no time!"

"We attempted to visit this restaurant last week while on vacation at Big Bend National Park. Initially, we had difficulty locating it because the Yelp map directed us to a different spot, although we were able to see the actual restaurant on our Apple Maps. When we finally reached the area, we discovered that the sign had been removed and the restaurant was closed, likely for renovations. Just a heads up—before you make the trip from the park, it might be wise to call ahead and check if they've reopened, as I’m not sure how long they will be closed."

"The staff was incredibly nice and accommodating, happily refilling our drinks and patiently working with my husband's vegan diet and my lactose intolerance. The restaurant itself is charming; my daughter adored the colorful decor and wants her room to look just like it! I would have loved to take pictures of our meals, but we always ate too quickly. I really don’t think you’ll regret dining here, although I do wish they were open all day instead of closing at 2 PM!"

"We had trouble finding a place for lunch, but we were thrilled to stumble upon the Chili Pepper Cafe! The staff was friendly, and they had a wide selection of bottled drinks. "What a delightful surprise! Both locals and tourists adore this place. We planned to cook every night while RVing, but with such amazing service and delicious food, why bother? The pork dish I had was fantastic, and the homemade chicken fried steak I enjoyed the next night was massive. They also offered great sides like broccoli and macaroni salad, along with many other options. It's incredible that, in such a remote location, you can find such great food! I didn't expect it, but Bad Rabbit truly impresses. A special shout-out to Kaitlyn for her exceptional service; everyone we met here was incredibly friendly and generous. I wish I had a place like this near me, even back home in the city. Oh, and I can't forget to mention the Impossible Burger my wife tried—she thought it was real meat! While there aren't many vegetarian options, those available seem to please."

"Loved this place!!! I got a brisket breakfast burrito and just omg. The brisket was soft with just a perfect amount of pinky tenderness, the tortilla was grilled maybe just 5% past perfection, the beans and potatoes were spot on. I want to try somewhere else for our second morning here of 2, just for variety, but my husband insists we come back here. No complaints from me–it was fantastic. A great view too! The coffee was tasty, but there were some grounds in it. Still a solid 5 stars."
