"We went for Valentines Day dinner. It was so charming there. The little details make a difference between nice dinner and a really great evening. They had a specialized menu for the day and there were plenty of options. In this case you would get a starter, an entree and a dessert for 50.00. It was an amazing price considering the quality of the food and the atmosphere. Drinks were separate. Coffee came with the meal. The restaurant appears to be an older house that was converted to a restaurant. It was really charming. The tables were decorated with fresh carnations and a candle and when you were seated they brought you a large vintage type bottle of ice cold water for the table. It added to the special feeling . The restrooms were clean and tastefully decorated as well with two one person bathrooms, one was unisex and one was just for the ladies. When you walk in the front door you are greeted right away, your name checked off on the reservation list and seated. The atmosphere was really relaxed, partly because it wasn't one of those large noisy places but also partly because everyone there seemed happy and were enjoying themselves. When the server took our order they asked for all three of your course choices at that time, which was because of the special. They staff was attentive and courteous and our waitress was so busy but really efficient. She handled all of her tables well and other staff pitched in if the other staff were helping other customers. The atmosphere combined with the delicious food and the attentive staff made this the best meal I have had in the last few years. We will definitely be going back.Vegetarian options: I ordered the onion soup for the starter, a vegetarian version of french onion soup with cheese and toasted bread. Delicious. It was made with vegetable broth and better than any French onion soup I've ever had that was made with beef broth. The soup was thick with sweet onions and the bread and cheese as opposed to a large bowl of broth.I ordered the Risotto with asparagus and mushrooms for my entree. Normally I'm not fond of asparagus but I took a chance and it was delicious. The serving was a large portion and I took home enough for a meal the next day.Just an FYI on the creme brulee; it was delicious and comparable to my favorite restaurant in New Orleans. My daughter says it's better but I may have to try it again just to be sure. (Lol)Parking: There is a parking lot directly across the street for the restaurant. It seemed to have ample parking for the amount of tables in the restaurant.Wheelchair accessibility: The restaurant is all first floor so wheelchair accessible shouldn't be a problem.Dietary restrictions: The menu clearly states the ingredients of each dish so those with dietary restrictions will know if they can safely order from the menu."
