"We ordered two pizzas, a Hawaiian and a meat lover, at Hammers before 2 PM. As soon as we sat down, we received prompt service and our drinks. The pizzas were the best around, loaded with delicious toppings. The staff was attentive and quick to refill our drinks. Overall, it was a great dining experience with fantastic food and friendly staff. I highly recommend Hammers!"

"I really want to love this place. It has lots of potential and close to home. I have eaten here about 4 times for breakfast and once with my wife for lunch. The food definitely seems under seasoned and hot food not so hot. On one occasion I asked for a napkin twice and never got it. My last experience today was disappointing. I ordered 3 eggs over well with links, breakfast potatoes and rye toast. I received white toast 2 eggs and the potatoes were barely warm. It came out very quickly maybe to quick. The staff is very friendly and hard working. They are probably under staffed like most places these days. Perhaps I will give them another try in the near future."

"I had a really disappointing experience today, November 7th, 2021. We've been dining at this restaurant for years, but today was strange and unpleasant. We felt completely ignored, as no one took our order. We wanted to sit outside, so we waited near the bar area. The waitstaff didn't seem overly busy—if anything, they appeared to be pretending to be. The restaurant wasn't packed at all, so there was no reason for them to overlook us. To make matters worse, a guy who arrived after us had his order taken first. Are you kidding me? I definitely won’t be returning to this place after that experience."

"I've always loved their ham, egg, and cheese croissants. The eggs are consistently hot, fluffy, and perfectly cooked! The croissants are always warm, and everything is made just how I request. The mozzarella sticks were crispy and packed with cheese! I will definitely be ordering from Gerald's again!"

"SMALL town ambience that makes a person feel out of place or an outsider the staff dont feel like they should have to serve. I 've tried to give them business a few times now and every time it was uncomfortable so I wont be returning and will still continue to support small business, just not this one. For those curious about the offerings? They have a pool table, offer a good breakfast at a reasonable price and taste for a bar, they have gaming machines for the thrill seekers, darts and very small (one person) bathrooms. Life is about choices and feeling validated and I think this bar could do so much better if they change their good ol boy approach. Good ol boy approach meaning make everyone feel welcome if they 're taking the time to frequent your establishment. Sure, you 've managed to keep the doors open through these hard times, but dont overlook the reason you 've been able to, customers and word of mouth."
