"Customer service? Not here. The staff was rude, and it was difficult to hear them or for them to hear me while placing my order. Trying to communicate my order was quite a challenge. When I requested salt and pepper shrimp, it always came in a separate bag instead of being mixed in with the other items. This time, the lady kept asking me questions even after I had specified a single item. Eventually, I gave in and said, "Yes, I'll take the salt and pepper shrimp," but then she started removing food from my combo. I thought, "Forget it. I don’t want less food; I just want a better experience."
Then she asked if I wanted an egg roll and how many. I said, "Yes, please, just one." She then pointed to a sign that said two for $2.00, and I replied that I only wanted one. It seemed like she got frustrated because I didn’t want to order two, which puzzled me. Why ask the customer how many they want if you’re just going to pressure them to get what you want instead? Overall, it was a bad experience, and communication was very difficult. I’ve been going to Tasty Goody for years, mostly in Upland and Montclair, and this location was by far the most challenging when it came to getting my order right."
