"This isn't St. Louis pizza. I grew up in St. Louis and have a fondness for Imo's and Provel cheese. I'm a huge fan of pizza in general, and these guys really do a fantastic New York-style crust. It's perfectly crispy and chewy. I even called back to let them know how much I loved the crust. They not only slice the sausage but also the meatballs, so if you’re expecting large chunks of meatballs, you might want to think twice before ordering from Pizzarelli. The sandwiches are excellent, the pizza is outstanding, and my partner really enjoys the cannolis. The only thing they don't do quite as well... but hey, they are primarily a pizza place, and a really great one at that."
