"La Cave may be Orange County’s hidden gem. Located below ground, subdued light, open grill. There’s a long bar as well red leather booth’s. Drinks are a good poor and wine by the glass or bottle priced fairly. I started with beef barley soup which was exceptional. My New York steak arrived medium rare as requested, hot flavor, and texture perfect. My wife enjoyed her filet. Dinners included toasted cheese bread, soup or salad as well as a starch. Our baked potatoes were very good. There is a retro vibe. I’m sure many guests are repeat diners. I recommend La Cave and sure you will enjoy it."
