"I was amazed to find such fresh seafood at a restaurant that is not directly by the coast - it was a truly delicious experience! I am very particular about my seafood, and I have to say that Joe exceeded my expectations. The oysters were the best I have ever had in my 54 years - they were perfectly coated, large, plump, flavorful, juicy, and cooked to perfection. The shrimp were also fantastic! You can tell a seafood restaurant is high quality by their tartar sauce, and Joe's Oyster Bar and Grill did not disappoint. Their house-made tartar sauce was delicious! I live in Houston, but I would gladly make the trip to Rosenberg for food like this. I will definitely be back! Even better, maybe I should open a Joe in Houston so I don't have to drive as far!"

"If I could give them a zero stars, I would. I can’t tell you about the food or the drinks because my boyfriend and I were never served. We walked in, sat at a table, and waited 8 minutes. Another couple walked in, were acknowledged, and served right away. One server made eye contact with me then promptly looked away. The assumed owner of the bar was sitting with another table socializing. Super unprofessional. We were looking forward to watching the game and eating, but see ya!To respond to the owner who replied: you made it seem like we were being impatient. We weren’t. We were bluntly ignored. When we left to get a cab you came outside and sat down, smoked a cigarette, and watched us leave your establishment. There was no attempt to serve us or even say hello to us."
