"Sat Aug 10, 2024 I went back a few times and the service has gotten better and the food was good. It's best to pay by cash otherwise thet charge you a CC fee for the machine. Will be coming back. Sun June 11, 2023 The first review was about 2 weeks ago (May 24, 2023) and I gave it a 5 star rating (see below). Now I am giving it a ONE star review. Why? Not because the food was bad, in fact it was good. The coffee good, eggs, potatoes good. No problem there. But because were devious between charging me one amount when I was there and then charging a different amount with the credit company. On my receipt today it says $14.37 $2 tip in which they gave the paper tip to the waitress instead (I'm starting to doubt it now! However, when I got home and checked my credit card company was BILLED $17.02 (which I will be disputing and see pictures). On the receipt, the final amount is scratched out. I just looked at the one from 2 weeks ago and found out that they had overcharged my bank $13.66 when the receipt said $10.19. If alone I usually give $2 tips, but if d If not alone I give more. But both times I was alone. This was the first review from 2 weeks ago May 24, 2023: I had given them a 5 star review even if the waitress was a sourpuss. The handicapped parking is on the side of the restaurant and you still have to walk. It would have been closer to walk if I had parked in a regular parking space in front. The doors are not handicap friendly for people in wheelchairs. You have to pull them open so better go there with someone to open and hold them for you. But there is space inside for a wheelchair. So far prompt service as soon as I arrived. I asked for coffee since I was having breakfast. I ordered 2 eggs over medium, toast and home fries (the square fried ones). It came as asked and the food was good. The coffee was ok. Not anything to write home about. The waitress was nice and prompt. I did not have to wait long to get my food. Good temperature. The bill was not detailed though. There was only 1 set amount on it. I took pictures."

"I have eaten here before and had a good experience. Yesterday however, it was not good. I had just finished working and was extremely hungry. I tried ordering online 30 minutes before they closed as I was only 10 minutes away. The order would not go through even though it said they were still taking orders. I went ahead and drove to the restaurant and when I arrived,, it was 15 minutes before closing. They had put away all of the food and said they were out of everything I asked for. Why even bothering being open if you are too concerned with closing the store before the closing time? I won 't waste my time with them ever again."

"I have no problem admitting my wrongs or being reasonable and recognizing if a person is just having a bad day …but It’s a shame I have to hold such a low opinion on middlesex county businesses. I went to BubbaKoos today after having placed the order online in which I asked for extra chicken and instead got extra rice) I was rudely met with an employee who asked what I needed and I mistakenly told her that I had called in and instead of her corrected me she was just very nasty and the gentleman that had gone before me to place this order also affirmed to the manger once we figured out who she was) that the young lady in the picture also was very nasty with him as well. So I immediately asked who the manager was , and as luck would have it. It was not her but she told the manager that I was upset because she asked a question and I knew that wasn’t the truth of the situation so I had to correct her. She was very curt and rude so I had to remind her that I did not make the decision for her to work there , so if she was unhappy with that, then that’s something that she should address internally and not take out all customers she immediately asked me if I would like to be escorted out?!!..to be threatened with being escorted out of an establishment for respectfully calling out biased treatment is appalling . To which I responded,” who is going to escort me out”? I had already paid for my food online , and she was being brazenly Rude and unprofessional. The manager finally then made herself known, and I let her know that I did not want the young lady to to lose her job or even be reprimanded, but she needed to watch the way she spoke to her customers because another customer and I whom did not know each other felt that she had been curt and disrespectful we both can’t possibly be lying!!! … I won’t be back again ,seeing as tho Certain customers were greeted politely and the two last of us both African American, were met with such rudeness and impatience, mind you it was only us two patrons in the store aside from the 3 employees ..Never again !!! Keep your money away from establishments where you won’t be respected and where the self entitled folks feel like they run ish I have the entire exchange on camera !!"

"I can't believe I've always driven past this place without stopping until yesterday! The food is absolutely delicious. The Brazilian staff treats you wonderfully; I felt as if they had known me for years. The customer service is excellent. It's definitely the best buffet in Connecticut!"
