"Missing the soup. Did not follow directions on The sandwich. I asked for extra mayo on the side they gave me no mayo at all. The Turkey Club was good, otherwise. Banana pancakes were rubbery. I needed a knife to cut them. My dog wouldnt even eat them!"

"As a native of Lebanon, NJ, this place has been a part of my life since I was 5 in 1970, as well as my family before me. I still go, and the food is just as good now as it ever was, and the view of the highway and the mountains is just as lovely as when I was little. Great food, and the staff are all very friendly and always have a minute to chat. More importantly I would like to personally apologize to our waiter for forgetting to tip him the last time we were there. There was NOTHING wrong with your service. My wife began to feel sick that day after her medical treatment at the doctor's office. I was trying to get her out and back home as soon as possible, and in my hurry, I forgot to leave you a tip. I hope you understand. My wife and I will be back after she recovers from her upcoming eye surgery, and we will enjoy the food just as much as we did before. In the meantime, keep up the great work! "I had heard a lot of positive reviews about this restaurant, so my mom and I decided to try it out for the first time. I wasn't sure which sandwich to choose, so I asked the cashier for her recommendations, and she was extremely polite and helpful. Although the place was quite busy and the dining area is on the smaller side, it had a vibrant atmosphere with everyone happily enjoying their meals and chatting. Our waitress was also very kind. I ordered the burger, which was good, while my mom chose the vegetarian sandwich, and she absolutely loved it. The fries, soup, and salad were all excellent as well. I got the impression that many of the customers were regulars, which contributed to the cheerful vibe in the restaurant."

"I highly recommend Deli 23! I tried the #5 Turkey California Club, which features Dutch Crunch bread, deli-sliced turkey, and I added provolone cheese, bacon, and avocado. It was a hot sandwich with all the tasty fixings. I placed a to-go order and was impressed by the excellent service from the staff. They offer a great selection of bread and condiments, including Dutch rolls, provolone, mayo, yellow mustard, pickles, red onions, jalapeños, super fresh and well-sliced tomatoes, and lettuce. The location is next to the SFGH campus, making it super convenient while I waited for my shuttle bus. Thank you, Deli 23! If you enjoy spice, I definitely recommend adding jalapeños!"
