"This is the worst sandwich shop in Bakersfield. They don’t accept credit cards or ATMs, although there is a machine in the lobby where you can pay an extra $1.50 to use it. Furthermore, the owner is too stingy to even invest in a cash register. The biggest drawback, though, is the service—it’s incredibly slow. If you have an hour and a half to spare for an overpriced sandwich and don't mind that neither the owner nor the staff show any concern for customers, then this place might suit you. Otherwise, just go for the six-day-old egg salad sandwich at the local truck stop; it would be a better choice."
