"The lentil soup, made with yellow lentils and boiled vegetables, has a unique texture but carries a slight bitterness that I found less appealing. While I can't say I was particularly impressed with the flavor and quality of the few dishes I've sampled, especially from the buffet, the tandoori chicken stood out. It was well-seasoned, with a nice blend of spices and herbs, a hint of lemon zest, and the meat was tender and juicy.
Although there are other Indian restaurants that I prefer for certain dishes, I look forward to returning to Royal Taj for its lunch buffet and to try the Thali dinners, which are served on traditional round trays with vegetables, as well as a selection of fish and shrimp dishes. The service here is friendly, quick, and attentive."
