"Golden Star is the top Vietnamese restaurant in Chinatown! I used to visit regularly from 2000 to 2013 when I worked at Embarcadero Center 3. It was a great spot to meet up with coworkers, with fast service and delicious food perfect for our lunch breaks. On my recent visit, we enjoyed house special pho, imperial rolls, Vietnamese beef carpaccio, and seafood crispy noodles. Unfortunately, our favorite tall waiter has left, but the service was still excellent. We dined outdoors due to restrictions, but it was a pleasure to see familiar faces among the staff. The food here has always been consistently good, making it a favorite spot when I worked in the Embarcadero area. Highly recommend!"
