"I finally had the chance to check out some local BBQ. I was second in line and had the opportunity to sample the brisket. I ordered a plate meal that came with two sides. The collard greens were good, but not exceptional. The smoked potato salad was just average. The brisket was alright, and the cornbread was similarly average. However, the sauces were excellent, and the atmosphere of the restaurant was a lot of fun. I really wish they offered a sampler plate so I could try a bit of everything. I wonder if they had one, but I just overlooked it."

"It's been 5 years since I've reviewed this place, so I thought an update was in order. We recently visited for STL Taco Week. They offered 2 tostadas for just $5. The tostadas were giant, covered in toppings, and so delicious. I was really impressed with the service. It appeared that there was just one guy front of house manning the bar and taking care of orders. The food came out in record time, even when 8 of us placed our orders at the same time. The kitchen was able to accommodate a vegan friend with our group by offering a black bean tostada with avocado and other veggies. There is a wheel of shots that you can spin. Spin the wheel and you must buy the shot that it lands on. You can just buy one or even a round for the bar. Such a fun atmosphere. Don't forget to pay the meters in front. The parking attendant comes around often and you WILL get a ticket (don't ask me how I know)."

"Our first BBQ in GA did not disappoint!! Had sausage, brisket, chicken breast and rib tips. All of it delicious!! And the BBQ sauce was great and came in the side so you could decide how much you wanted. Totally appreciated that. Great customer service and food!! Total hole in the wall shop. Don't miss the chance to stop by and grab some food! Had to come back and grab some food to take with us in the morning. They were out of brisket so we grabbed pulled pork, sausage and a leg quarter. Of course we had to sample. No disappointment AT ALL! Can't even say which is the favorite. They are all so good. We had plenty of BBQ sauce so told them we didn't need any more. They slipped us a taste of the candied yams. Christmas came early!! So sad we leave tomorrow!!"

"The food is decent, but the service is terrible. Lucky though, you can't dine in. The lady who answers and it is the same person who answers and has answered for the last 20 years is so rude to you that you have to wonder if YOU did something wrong. She IS the Great Wall. Hire someone with some personality, who is at least a warm, friendly voice. I don't need a cheering section, but I don't deserve a sneering section either. I get my husband to call. When you walk in, there's one semi bright light directly over the cash register. The rest of the restaurant, including the cooking area, is so dimly lit that you have no idea how they manage to see what they're cooking. The egg drop soup is thick and delicious and the best I've ever had. We also like the Lo Mein, Orange Beef, and Beef with Snow Peas. For my money though, I'd rather go to Panda Express. A bit less Chinese, but much nicer people."

"We have eaten at this location twice now and I will say the pulled pork is delicious!! No one was there when we came to get food the second time so there was no wait and we got taken care of right away. The only negative thing I can say was that the Mac and cheese I had was very dry and flavorless so I wouldn't recommend the Mac and cheese personally. But the pulled pork is delicious as long as you watch for the chunks of fat. And I love the BBQ sauce they use on top! We will be returning customers and we recommend the place to others."

"A really good BBQ experience. Smokey Mo was recommended to us by a friend, and he was not wrong. This place is not fancy and it is certainly not a bit place, but the food is fall of the fork tender and so very mouthwatering good. There is an indoor eating area that holds about 18 people at the most, plus a covered outdoor patio. The manager, Brandon, is really nice and helpful. If you like classic BBQ food, this is a place to visit. And if you have room after, try the Peach Cobbler Ice Cream. He makes it in-house, and it tastes just like you have taken a home made peach cobbler out of the frig andstarted eating it."

"After ordering our meals, we found ourselves waiting... and waiting... and waiting! When our food finally arrived, the fries were cold. Despite my husband requesting no toppings on his burger, they piled them on anyway. The kids wanted ranch for dipping, but guess what? They were out of ranch—what a surprise! As for the burgers, they were just average. The only highlight was the onion rings, which were fantastic! Overall, I wouldn't choose to return."
