"A must visit place if you are fanatical about good food. Also, if you love experimenting with different cuisine, flavors and pairings. We ordered the platter and was pleasantly surprised how well Texas barbecue blended with Ethiopian cuisine. The pork, beef, chicken, even the teff pancakes, were out of this world. Wash it all down with the ginger and honey tea, and you will already be planning the next visit. And why not, the place is truly value for money to boot.A couple of things to keep in mind though. The place is almost a hole in the wall, and don't expect much in terms of ambience, though I guess you can call it rustic/quaint. The location is a rundown strip mall almost in Mansfield, a good 30-40 mins drive from both Dallas and Forth Worth. The place is family run with the husband and wife team doing almost everything from cooking to managing the cash register. Their two daughters were helping when we were there, but be prepared to wait and even help yourselves with water/soda etc. They are a lovely family, and by the end of the meal you get the feeling you have known them for a very long time. Because of staff shortages timing can be a bit unpredictable and truncated. Check before you leave since you will be driving a while.A couple of months back The New York Times had selected this place as one of the top 50 restaurants in the US. It is an honor they truly deserve."
