"I’ve been a huge fan of Chicken E for 15 years. But the quality and service have consistently declined as the price has consistently risen. I’m fed up with it and won’t be eating here any more. Last time I went, I sat in the drive through for 25 minutes and then paid $15 for a single meal, only to get home and find they forgot the gravy, which is their trademark dipping sauce. Tonight I went though again. I asked the lady taking my order, “how are you?” She responded with an annoyed look and only said 1 word, “tired”. Ok, fair enough. I did ask. But then I again pay an exorbitant amount for a single fast food meal (which would probably be worth it if they hit their highest quality mark consistently), and get home to find that my mashed potatoes are covered in gravy that is so thin and runny, it’s shaking around inside the casing like liquid. It could literally be mistaken for water. The potatoes are inedible. The roll is partially burned and the chicken looks like it’s been under a heat lamp for an hour. They also used to always give you 1 extra tender (which helped make up for the high prices), but have ended that tradition. Now I get 4 shriveled, shrimpy looking tenders to go along with my watery mashed potatoes and burned roll for $12. Screw that. Cane’s is cheaper, has way more consistency on the product, and 10x the service. The worst part is that I try to call them multiple times to make a complaint with the manager and they of course don’t even answer the phone. It seems like they literally hire off the bottom of the barrel. They are trying to make McDonald’s and Taco Bell their competitors instead of Cane’s and Chick-fil-a. Fine. You do you. But you’ve lost a life long customer and I’ll be sharing my experience with anyone who asks. Service: Take out Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $10–20"
