"During our recent lunch visit with my family, I noticed that all our dishes had smaller portions or were filled with extra rice instead of the usual valuable ingredients. The Arroz con Pollo used to have mushrooms, onions, paprika, carrots, tomatoes, celery, grilled chicken in a smoky sauce over rice topped with melted cheese, and served with a side of salad, fresh tomatoes, onions, and usually cut avocado, along with corn or flour tortillas. Unfortunately, my dish only had about half an onion sautéed, zero paprika, half the amount of mushrooms, and no avocado. The portion of rice was doubled, and the price had also increased to almost $19.
I'm not angry, just truly disappointed. I hope that the restaurant will return to its previous standards and not use the pandemic as an excuse to cut corners. I am willing to pay more for a dish if it meets the expectations I have come to know and love. Even the children's dishes had smaller portions of fries and fewer chicken strips than usual. I want this restaurant to continue succeeding and be around for many more generations to come. This is why we keep coming back! I hope that by providing this feedback, the owners can reevaluate their approach and make the necessary improvements."
