"Batesy’s BBQ and Bar was the ideal place for lunch after our three-mile walk along the boardwalk. As first-time visitors, we chose Batesy’s, and it turned out to be a fantastic decision. Gerard welcomed us right away with a warm smile, and both he and Chris provided us with outstanding service. We ordered the Batesy’s Beach Box, which was more than enough food for three people and offered great value. While the corn on the cob could have been cooked a bit longer, the cornbread, brisket, chicken, and St. Louis ribs were absolutely delicious! The cornbread, served with a side of butter, created a mouthwatering combination when drizzled on top. My friend also mentioned that the Henny Colada was exceptional. Although the patio looked lovely, we opted to sit inside among a diverse crowd of diners. Batesy’s boasts a wonderful staff, delicious food, and a fantastic location!"
