"Came here yesterday with my partner, we had to check Helen's out because the smell from outside was amazing! Kind and attentive staff, the nice lady at the register took care of us. We ordered an 8 piece wingette meal, hot with okra and pickles and comes with two pieces of white bread, and drink of choice from the cooler. "I enjoyed the food and service. Unfortunately, not the greatest place to park, but food makes up for any inconvenience. Got a to go order. The wings are amazing. Got 24 wingettes. I was worried they may be too hot, so I got half mild and half plain. The mild was perfect. The plain was also really good. Also got the waffles. They were delicious. The catfish was so delectable. I special requested that they fry the catfish hard. I thought I was going to break it in half and share, but I couldn't stop eating it with the slices of bread. I got two sides. The fries had too much seasoning. I actually rinsed some of the seasoning off. I also got the Okra, but they were bland... almost flavorless. I should have taken some of the seasoning on the fries and put it on the Okra. The wings, waffles, and catfish were so amazing."

"My overall experience was excellent. They are a triple plus: Food, Price, Service were all on point for my visit. I ordered the Philly Cheese Steak combo and a sno cone. I had to wait about 15 minutes but while I waited I enjoyed my sno cone which was very generous for a small.When I recieved my Cheese steak and fries, they were hot and the portions were great for the price. The server thanked me for my patience and I was on my way. The food is not fancy but it's fun, fast and fairly priced. Put this place on your Places to Try List You'll be happy you did."
