"The service in this establishment continues to decline. I stopped in to purchase a Milano pie. First of all the man behind the counter failed to acknowledge I was there for a good ten minutes. Is a simple I will be right with you. too much to ask for. After paying for my order and returning 20 mins later I discovered the guy who took my order made it a white pizza instead of the red I asked for. He then suggested he would slap some red sauce on top. When I requested my money back they then relented to remake the pie. After waiting an additional twenty minutes I finally received the proper order and headed to my car. As I headed back to my car one of the workers ran out of store and started screaming across the lot asking if I had paid. At this point I headed back into the store. Looked at the guy who originally took my order and money and asked him why his coworker is chasing me down like a thief when I paid. He then looked at me and asked me Did you pay? In addition to having a receipt ,two other diners in the establishment who were there when I made my purchase said Yes he did pay! . When I detailed to the manager the shoddy service I received from start to finish and my displeasure at being chased like a thief due to his incompetent staff I was offered a free soda for my embarrassment. There are too many other decent pizza places in New Haven for anyone to bother spending money here."
