"I had an unfortunate experience dining at this restaurant yesterday, April 8, 2024. From the moment I walked in, it was clear that my visit would not be enjoyable. The host greeted us with a rude attitude that persisted throughout our time there.
As if the poor service wasn’t enough, when the bill arrived, I was shocked to discover that we had been overcharged by a staggering $12. To make matters worse, every item on the bill was priced at least $4 higher than what was shown on the menu. When I brought this discrepancy to the attention of the staff, rather than offering a sincere apology and correcting the mistake, they simply brushed it off with a paltry $5 discount.
When I insisted on a proper correction for the $12 overcharge, the staff member became visibly irritated, accusing me of not accounting for tax, despite having already done so. After much back and forth, they reluctantly admitted their error and adjusted the bill, but with an air of annoyance.
To add insult to injury, when I asked about the promised $5 discount on top of the corrected bill, the staff member reacted with hostility, suggesting that I should be more careful in checking my bill in the future. Although I eventually paid the corrected amount, I did so feeling indignant about the blatant lack of professionalism and accountability exhibited by the establishment.
My advice to anyone considering dining at this restaurant—or any place in Indianapolis, for that matter—is to carefully check your bill before parting with your hard-earned money. It’s disheartening to see such deceptive practices appear to be commonplace in this city, serving as a reminder to always stay vigilant when it comes to financial transactions."
