"Our waitress didn’t mention any specials, and we all forgot to ask about them. One member of our party ordered chicken parmesan, which she loved, yet she admitted it looked and tasted greasy—definitely artery-clogging! We ended up asking for the risotto to be removed from our bill because I couldn't eat it at all. Additionally, our water was never refilled unless we specifically asked; I drank both my own water and someone else's before our waitress returned to collect our plates and I could request more. We typically make better Italian food at home, but sometimes you just want to dine out. Unfortunately, we'll be skipping this restaurant for a while."

"Should not be an hour plus from our reservation and then order...for steak knives... let alone our ordered at the same time as drinks, to save time....or let alone, our meduim 6oz fiket steak special plates. $60ea .. to come out. All the other tables ate thier meals, ordered dessert, finished that, and left....while we waited. Unbelievable. ... Also there was an Unbearable stench of 'fishy sewage and BO ' where we sat. That was not ignoreable... Unsure if it was a patron or a server.. we stayed quiet. But I had a migraine freshly began before I got any food. And went from a full room of already ordered party folks.. to just us.. waiting...for a steak mine was chewy and flavorless after all... I couldn 't eat it I have gut issues with tough meat salt? Any season? I haven 't eaten all day.. and the server mostly ignored us...wevlef6 hungry and angry...C 'mon. So much for a special occasion...which when our server asked was kind of washed over..like did he hear us? No I feel like he didn 't...was not mentioned again... Reservation 745. Left 905 right after service and requested boxes immediately...this all after w3 left on another evening before ordering because it was so HOT inside... we canceled our seats walk in before ordering... "As a repeat customer everytime i go pick up my order, the young girl in the front never greets me. She barely picks her head out of her phone and when she does she just stares at me waiting for me to speak. She will hand me the food without saying Thank you or anything. Its annoying. Customer service is important when you are the initial person people see when they enter a buisness. A simple Hi and Thank you goes a long way."

"We were excited to go there due to the good reviews the restaurant had. We were disappointed in the service since it was very slow probably because they were very busy and understaffed as allot of restaurants are these days. We ordered the caprese which was tasteless . We also ordered a pizza which was pretty good. 3 of us ordered chicken parmesan the chicken was dry and inedible. The pastas were all good. It was decent but there are allot of options out there. I probably would not take another look at this place."

"Just ordered a grilled chicken wrap and received a wrap I was not expecting at all. It looked like wet cat food and was absolutely disgusting. Our order total was 26.48 all together ,when the driver arrived we handed her two 20 dollar bills and she said she only had 8 dollars to give us back. Which was honestly not a problem but the drivers should be able to give change back when needed to. We called back to address the problem and the cashier asked us if we would like to talk to her boss and we said yes. She stops talking to us and we can all hear her mocking my step mother in the background of the call. Never got transferred to a manager or boss, was not offered a credit or anything just a sorry and hung up on. HORRIBLE SERVICE !"

"Second order I placed from here, first order went fine. Second order I was charged an additional $2.19 service fee post order. Already was being charged $6.49 delivery fee with a $2.75 service charge and I tipped the driver $8.00. The reason being charged the additional service fee was, I made a special request of knock and leave at door . The person this was being delivered to has covid, I was trying to have contactless for the sake of the drivers health and got charged for it. This actually being easier to deliver than waiting for a person to answer. Thankfully grubhub refunded it, but it was wrong in the first place."

"It's been a while since I've been to Bistro Gambrinus (ever since moving out of state), but all I know is that if Neil is still running the place, it is an amazing place to eat and drink. I spent many hours in this place over the course of two years while I live a couple of blocks away. It's a very unassuming store front, but the food is incredible and the drinks always hit the spot. I've never before or since had a place where I felt so at home. A friend and I used to frequent this place after work or for a game over the weekends, and we'd always have great conversations with the staff and other patrons. When friends talk about visiting SF, I always recommend Bistro Gambrinus to them!"

"Wanted a sandwich while heading north to Ludington. Found this place on Google and decided to give it a try. At first we were not sure, but the menu looked good.. so we tried it. The list of specials for the day sounded amazing and so did the West River sandwich. We took the bartenders advice and split the Pepperjack Crab soup, the egg rolls, and the West River. Wow. All three were amazing. Great service, friendly people, great food."

"Came here for the first time based on Jonathan Rosenthals fb post mentions of this place and was very disappointed. Walked in to order in person and it took 5 mins for someone to acknowledge me, I recognized zero effort to decorate the restaurant, the man came out with food in his mouth and was chewing while taking my order. I ordered, his machine printed a receipt and without saying a word he turned around and went away. I stood there for a couple mins not sure if the transaction was complete and eventually walked outside to wait. I ordered a half cheese half pepperoni ny style. After 15 mins wait I walk in and the pizza is ready, I order two cans of soda and the gentleman said he preferred I paid in cash because it cost him too much money to ring up a card for $2. Even just ordering the sodas was weird, I asked if he could ring me up for two cans and the guy was like “idk can I, or will I?” I got the pizza and I noticed two things. The entire pizza was drenched in grease, and all chese only slices had pepperoni as well keeping in mind that not a lot of pepperoni was used. The attempt to actually make it half only cheese was absent and it was to put it simply it was a very sloppy pizza. The crust tastes good but it is noticeably chewy and not in a good way. I might give this place one more chance but I have more reasons to try other places."

"Oh my goodness! I absolutely adore this restaurant. The owners are amazing, the food is outstanding, and the service is incredibly friendly. Seriously, the food is exceptional! Chef Lindsay is incredibly talented. The quality of the dishes for the price, especially in Jasper, is truly remarkable. Their lunches are particularly fantastic. Some of our favorite items on the menu include the roasted and grilled pork chops, Hamburg steak, shrimp, burgers, and the absolutely divine pan-roasted sweet potatoes. You really can't go wrong with anything here. Just a heads up: reservations are required for evening dining."

"This restaurant serves some of the best pizza I've ever had—it's truly outstanding! I travel from San Antonio just to enjoy their delicious food. "I am unlikely to return to this restaurant. The service was quite poor, and the food was just mediocre. It took nearly an hour for our group of seven to receive our meals, and no one ordered anything that required extensive preparation. We received our appetizers along with the first three meals, but when I requested ketchup, I had to ask for it again when the remaining meals arrived about 15 minutes later. The kids enjoy ketchup with their fries. Additionally, the pea salad was misleading; two of us ordered it but didn’t eat it. Overall, the food felt more like basic bar fare."

"I absolutely love this place! It might be a bit pricey, but the redfish I had was the best I've tasted in five years along the Gulf Coast. The grilled oysters were also incredible, even better than my previous favorites. The service was excellent; the staff clearly enjoyed their jobs and took great care of us. While the drinks aren't cheap, they are delicious and strong. The bartender made me a perfect Kentucky Mule. We definitely plan to come back here often!"
