"Recommend by a friend, my first time at Tartine Bakery Restaurant Silver Lake, I had THE BEST PASTRAMI SANDWICH I have ever had anywhere!!! Not your traditional deli version, but ginger soy cured brisket (lean and tasty , with pickled bean sprouts, red cabbage, crispy shallots on fresh baked marbled rye (bread is my downfall and comfort food !!! An incredible combination of flavors that makes their pastrami sandwich so unique and absolutely delicious! Well seasoned I think I even tasted a bit of fresh chopped mint in there, too?Can't wait to go back and try other things at Tartine! I hear the morning buns, breads, and lemon poppy seed cake are wonderful, too! (Have I used enough exclamation points in this review? I could add more!"
