"Came in at 5:25 on Sunday, seated immediately (thru the kitchen ? and into the wine room next door) and waited 20 minutes to get a waitress. Restaurant had three tables seated inside and four outside. Two other couples were seated after us in our room and one got waters from the person who seated them and then another set of waters was delivered by their waitress still no one had talked to us. The waitress who was waiting on the outside tables cut thru our room multiple times and was obviously working hard. The three other waitresses on staff seemed to be utterly confused as to their tables and our waitress seemed almost bothered to help us. We did finally place our drink orders, my coffee was burnt, bottom of the pot on the burner way too long. Never should have been used. No silverware delivered with coffee. We then heard one of the other tables ask, can we get a waitress? Our waitress finally showed back up to take our order. We both ordered burgers and fries as this was supposed to be their specialty. My wife 's was delivered without cheese and when she pointed it out to the waitress she said, Oh, I forgot to ask you which kind of cheese. In the mean time, another couple had been seated at the bar, got totally ignored and just got up and left. ! At least four waitresses can 't run less than 16 tables? There needs to be some serious training going on or if you can 't staff and manage the place properly, just shut it down on Sunday. Burgers were OK but not worth $20, fries were good but whole experience trashed by service which went from bad to worse. With all the unhappy customers around us it wasn 't just us. I hate writing negative reviews but this place needs to tighten up."

"I decided to postpone, and the transition was seamless. I've heard nightmare stories from other brides about rescheduling difficulties, but my experience with The Madison was nothing like that. After working with Julie for just a few weeks, I was introduced to another event coordinator, and then I ultimately worked with Thomas. Again, this transition was smooth. It felt like he was with me every step of the way during my wedding planning. He is an absolute gem—kind, courteous, and you can genuinely tell he loves what he does. He made me feel like our event was the only one that mattered, even though The Madison hosts a variety of events all the time! Thomas did everything he could to alleviate any worries or stress, and honestly, I didn’t have much to worry about. He went above and beyond to ensure that our wedding day was absolutely perfect. Together with the rest of the staff, they truly knocked it out of the park: they coordinated flawlessly with all my vendors, arranged my decorations beautifully, and provided quick, friendly dinner service for my guests. The food was excellent, the venue looked stunning, and I received numerous compliments from my guests. Many hadn’t even heard of The Madison before, but they all remembered it afterward! I cannot thank Thomas and the staff enough for what they did. They turned a year that has been stressful for many couples into a smooth, enjoyable experience for us. My bridal party adored him too! We also held our tasting dinner at The Madison, and it was just as perfect as our wedding day, with every server ensuring we had everything we needed. If you’re unsure about where to host your wedding or any event, I highly recommend The Madison. You won’t just be eating and drinking; you’ll be impressing your guests!"
