"Food was great…cream of mushroom soup; wedge salad; salmon; and steak and fries- cheese grits were a little lumpy and under seasoned though. Well priced and nice atmosphere. I imagine it was a fluke but our service was not great. We sat for 20 minutes without as much of an “Ill be right with you”. I finally went up to the host station when a couple was seated next to us, 20 minutes after us, and was immediately greeted, had water and had their wine corked! A server did come over then but was very abrupt and practically dropped our plates and ran instead of making us feel welcome or perhaps even offering an apology for the undue delay! Would we go back- Yes …. but with the hope that we would get a better server!"

"Hole-in-the-wall dinner with a friendly staff and even better eating! coffee is always fresh and refilling are often offered, cream and sugar are directly at the table, so that not waiting for them! every article on the menu is worth a try, but my favorite is her southwest hath with 2 eggs (by simple) and a tortilla. look at their fish tank, but: don't talk to the fish, they want to get out! , seriously but, the fish seem well loved and well maintained, inspire children of all age groups! Don't forget to take a few cookies home. my sons love the chocolate chips (no nuts) and my favorites are the chocolate chips with nuts."
