"We arrived at the Hibachi restaurant a little early and were the first ones at our table. It made for some great photo opportunities as we waited for the other tables to fill up. Once everyone had arrived, the show began. We started off with the delicious soup and salad, followed by the California roll which had the perfect amount of crab and avocado. The main course of steak, veggies, chicken, rice, and noodles was fantastic - everything was cooked perfectly and portioned just right. The wait-staff and chef were incredibly kind and attentive throughout the meal."

"We came here because it was closer to the place where we lived, but I can honestly say I wish I was going to West Springfield instead. The environment was dead... The cook seemed like he was overworked (although his technical skills were amazing), and the waitress never checked us. They sat with us another company and automatically calculated the 18% allowance on our account despite the fact that we were only a party of 4. I'm NOT going back to this place... If you calculate for bliss, at LEAST offer it!!!! And they tried to push us out of the restaurant... Like they couldn't get us out fast enough! Spreading $300 in a restaurant means you should and demand some kind of respect, but apparently.... This is not enough, nor is the 18% size that was attacked on the bill."

"A new tasty sushi spot. I went with a friend for dinner and ate on the Japanese cuisine side. We were both impressed with the decor, layout and overall ambiance of the entire restaurant. I found the Japanese and Chinese cuisine menus to be intriguing. Our server was courteous and attentive the entire time we dined. The overall menu pricing is reasonable and the menu options were creative and enticing. I ordered an Alaska roll, spicy yellowtail roll and miso soup. The fish was fresh and flavorful, making the rolls that much more enjoyable. I will definitely be back with my boyfriend for dinner. This is a nice new addition in Waukesha/Brookfield and I look forward to dining here again."

"A pleasant surprise. On our way home from Boston, we started looking for a place for lunch, and this popped up on Waze. The service was friendly, the ambiance soothing, the prices reasonable. The menu is a bit limited, compared to the places in large cities, but the food was good, if somewhat surprising. The tuna sushi seemed to be made from a pate of tune , rather than freshly sliced fish, but it was good, and tasted right. A bento box, a pot of tea, a quick trip to the clean restroom, and we were back on the road in less than an hour, fortified and satisfied."

"This is the best sushi restaurant I've ever visited! I hadn't been here in about six years, but since I had a great experience before, I decided to give it another try. I'm so glad I did—it was even better this time! My boyfriend and I enjoyed several amazing sushi rolls. Our waiter, who I suspect might also be the owner (I think his name was Sam), was an excellent host. He ensured we had everything we needed—and more! Such a nice guy. I can't comment on the hibachi just yet, but this has definitely become our new go-to sushi spot!"

"Made reservation for my sister's birthday, but the restaurant has a policy that all parties need to be present to seat for Hibachi. This was difficult for a party of 6 and a baby coming from different states. Was not allowed to seat other than the dining area and would not be able to move to hibachi later. We wanted to order appetizers and had no choice, but to take a table. We were seated with menu stacked in the middle of the table. This was disappointing since it wasn't busy and there were plenty of space at the hibachi. There should be a note on Open Table to inform customers regarding this policy. They also auto charge 20% in gratuity for parties of 6 or more. This was $53 and service was only ok. I wanted a drink, but the server never asked. We had to wrap our own leftovers. This is not to mention when the table filled up, we would help stack plates and hand to the server. The food was good. We ordered 9 appetizers including their signature rock shrimp. The Kobe beef Carpaccio was $20 for 4 thin sheets. Ordered Seabass and the basil prawns with tenderloin. The Seabass was excellent, but the prawns were hard and small sitting in edible bowl next to pieces of the tenderloin. The 7 sushi rolls were also good. These dinner plates should have included miso soup that showed up on the receipt, but we didn't receive. We were also charge for white rice that also came with the dish. The server was busy and refunded us five dollars in cash, which doesn't cover taxes and the 20% that was charged in addition. I personally would've given 15% to 18% for gratuity for the type of service I received. Manager watched and really didn't stop by and ask how things were. We should have had a better experience celebrating a birthday, and for $342 it wasn't great."

"I wish I could give it a bigger score. The staff were friendly and we even got a free appetizer which I really didn’t know what it was since it was a ball of avocado. The food was okay given that it was drenched in sauces, some of the fish I felt were not the greatest tasting. I was kind of grossed out after the fact that the flower on the serving dish was plastic so it made me think that this has been on so many other plates before me. The water cups I had, had yellow floating “stuff” inside so I didn’t drink it. Finally, there was “someone” coughing in the back which I believe it was child of the staff there. Knowing all that’s been going around, it seems just unhygienic and unprofessional of all that I experienced. We went because we had there food uber to us and there fried rice is AMAZING!"

"This restaurant is a charming little spot that offers good value for the price, although it is not outstanding. My child enjoyed the cheese pizza with black olives. It is located on Main Street, so parking can be a bit challenging, but it's not a major issue. The pickup process was somewhat uncomfortable."

"my wife and I have just tried cove sushi bar in danforth and santa fe. the place was empty when we came in and we soon found out why. we ordered thunfish and eel nigiri and both were bland and tasteless. the tempura roll had a little taste, but was not entirely up to the standards of sushi we eat at most Chinese buffets. the expensive rolls we ordered were the pretty boy and sexy lady and both were so bad that they were almost unusable. we finished them because we paid for them, but it was a process. the handsome boy roll tasted like processed chemicals and the sexy lady had a layer of avocado on the outside that was simply disgusting. nothing wrong with the avocado itself, it was just a terrible...read more"

"My friend took me here for dinner as I'm not from the area. The wait for hibachi was too long so we opted for a table in the dining area. I ordered a mule beverage and the pineapple fried rice and a sweet potato avocado sushi roll. Didn't snag a photo of the sushi as I devoured it up too quickly!! The pineapple fried rice was so plentiful and delicious. It had chicken and shrimp in it which I was pleasantly surprised by. I had enough to share with my girlfriend and for another meal the next day."

"Hi Casella! I’ve been a regular customer, but I was quite disappointed with my recent order. I waited over 60 minutes for my sandwich, and when I called, it didn’t seem to be a big concern. I ordered an Italian chicken sandwich, but what I received was a huge bread roll with very little filling—just two small pieces of chicken and a few potatoes, and I didn’t even get the sausage I requested. Honestly, it wasn’t worth the wait at all!"

"I stopped by this restaurant after shopping at Potomac Mills and sat at the bar. The bartender was fantastic, making the whole experience a perfect 10/10! The drinks were excellent and very reasonably priced. I ordered the triple combo (shrimp, steak, and chicken), upgrading to filet mignon. Everything was delicious, although I wasn't particularly impressed with the steak. Overall, it was a wonderful experience, and I'll definitely consider returning if I'm in the area. I enjoyed a Hennessy cranberry and a shot of reposado, and my total came to $55."

"Nice Hibachi lunch. I visited Kumo's with my daughter to experience some Hibachi life as we never tried. So we chose a combination dinner from the Hibachi menu and a Fillet Mignon from the Hibachi children's menu. The food was really unique in contrast to the usual steaks and burgers we eat half of our lives. As a very picky girl at dinner, my daughter loved the meal and surprisingly ended her whole meat. I loved it my self and we both decided to come back with my husband on another day."

"I ordered from this restaurant twice this month, trying the rocko and the chicken patty melt. Unfortunately, the sandwich was really difficult to eat because the chicken was incredibly dry. Additionally, the staff was quite rude. I placed my order shortly after they opened at 10 am and arrived by 10:40 am, only to find the restaurant closed. I waited outside for 10 minutes, knocking on the door and calling the restaurant, until a worker named Juan finally unlocked the door in a very rude manner. I mentioned to him that my previous sandwich, the rocko, was extremely dry. He just looked at me and didn't say anything, and when I asked who I should speak to, he simply said he would pass the message along. When I finally got to eat my patty melt, it was just as dry as before, and my coworker’s was just as bad. We both ended up only eating half. I won’t be ordering from here again."

"we're here for the birthday dinner of my best friends. we often came here because the atmosphere is great and that was always good. unfortunately we will not be back again. everything is very expensive for the portion sizes they give them, and the service was extremely slow. we had the sunberry martini, which is in a small glass for $11. we ordered another and we waited almost 40 minutes when we decided to say our waitress to quit. our server did not stop at the hibatchi often so that we needed most of the time that needed to be able to get them. the last stray was when our food was cooked. we ordered the kabuto deluxe that comes with the three choices. we rarely ordered our steak medium and he literally put the food on our plate raw. I don't speak the pink color that gets medium rarely, literally raw. We asked him if we could have cooked our a little more and he tried to blame us that we had ordered medium. medium is a bright pink center, while medium rare is a deep pink, but still boiled. our steak had literally dark red meat, but only a little cooked pieces. when he put it on our teller, it was good. the lobster also tastes really fishy, so we didn't finish it. not to mention, the menu clearly states gratulation is added to parties of 6 or more. we had only 5 people, and the waitress accused a 15% tap on the bill without letting us know. I get it probably changed due to covid, but let her customers know! so unprofessional especially if the service was not good. I would have tipped right away, but I don't want the gratulation to be added without being informed or at least somewhere a sign? we loved this place, but we're going to go somewhere from now on."

"This restaurant never fails to impress us! We tried the lunch special King Kong and Empire rolls, but our favorites were the Angus Steak Wrap and the pork Goyoza rolls. Be sure to try these dishes, you won't be disappointed. The house white wine was also a pleasant surprise. Our server, Elfie, was fantastic - attentive, knowledgeable, and quick with our drinks and appetizers. This restaurant is a hidden gem! If you're craving delicious sushi, this is the place to go."
