"One downside is the location’s convenience; it’s situated in the center of the shopping area, and I'm uncertain if there are any designated handicap parking spots available, which is something to keep in mind. I opted to sit on the patio, which was pleasant and dog-friendly, but despite plenty of servers around, we waited a solid 20 minutes without chips. By the time they arrived, the queso was cold, and I expected chips to be the first item on the table. The drinks, while not made from overly sweet artificial margarita mix, also didn't impress. On the positive side, the salsa was fresh and delicious. The guacamole tasted great too, but its smooth texture was a bit off for my taste; I prefer chunky guacamole, which made me question its freshness—it reminded me of the packaged kind from the store. Nonetheless, I enjoyed the flavor, but some chunkiness would enhance it. For my entree, I ordered the Quesabirria, and it was really good! It came with three tacos, double-wrapped in tasty corn tortillas, griddled with a flavorful consommé, and generously filled with tender meat and melted cheese. The consommé was thick and hearty, clinging nicely to the tortilla, and I appreciated the cilantro and onions in the broth. Personally, I would have liked extra cilantro and onions on the tacos, but I suppose I could have requested that. I also ordered a side of rice, but they initially brought me fries. Thankfully, the rice didn’t take too long to arrive after that slip-up. While the rice was decent, it wasn’t my favorite—it could have used a bit more flavor. My friend ordered the ACP Texano and enjoyed it. I've had some decent experiences at Monte D's, but I haven't been overwhelmingly impressed. It’s a convenient option for a quick meal, but with so many similar restaurants in the area, I'm not sure this one stands out enough. I enjoy the cuisine, but there’s definitely room for improvement to reach that next level of greatness!"

"When I’m deciding on food for lunch or dinner, the item that I am most likely to seek is a burger. Living in a large city like Houston, it is easy to find a restaurant serving beef patties on a bun piled high with your favorite toppings and one burger joint I have visited and liked is Southwell’s Hamburger Grill. This Southwell location is located off the main road, so many people do not even realize that it’s here. It is very close to interstate 10, and thus easy enough to find. It is larger on the inside than expected, with a good number of tables and booths, enough to seat upwards of one hundred people.Burgers are the reason you visit Southwell’s. The menu consists of burgers, sides, and shakes and you order at the counter, then wait for the food to be delivered to your table. One thing I like is that they have a small display, right there on the counter when you order, showing the topping options. This helps make the process faster, since customers are not looking all over the place trying to find the choices. Burgers are prepared to order, and with this easily visible display, it is easy to see the topping choices and order exactly what you want. And there are about 20 different burgers from which to choose, along with a few chicken sandwiches, salads, etc.Burgers and sides are all sold separately at Southwell’s. There isn’t a combo meal menu. That means you can either go light and order just a burger and drink, or add a side if you want. I love the onion rings served here, so I will usually get that as my side item. Combined with a juicy burger on wheat or white bun, with the toppings of my choosing, makes for a satisfying meal.Service at Southwell’s Hamburger Grill is efficient. In a matter of minutes, they have the food for you, delivered to your table. It’s only a little slower than the service at a fast- food restaurant, but much faster than the service at a full service restaurant. And the food is easily better than fast food and on- par with that of most full service establishments.Houston is known for its burger culture. Southwell’s Hamburger Grill is a good place for a quick burger fix, and the prices are reasonable for what you get. I recommend it to anyone who loves a good burger, prepared the way you like it."
