"I arrived just under an hour before closing and was greeted with exceptional service. The young woman at the counter was incredibly patient and offered fantastic recommendations. I ended up ordering the sushi bento box, a smoked salmon sushi roll, and some fried calamari as an appetizer.
Starting with the calamari, it was incredibly fresh, crispy, and downright delicious, paired perfectly with the sweet chili sauce. The sushi roll was equally fresh and beautifully presented. You could really tell that the fish was fresh, with a great texture and flavor.
The bento box was a delightful assortment that included miso soup, salad, rice, gyoza, a California roll, and six pieces of sushi. The miso soup was just right—not cold at all—and it was clear it hadn’t been sitting out all day; it was just fantastic. The salad was a simple iceberg mix with ginger dressing, but the dressing elevated it to something wonderful. The gyoza was enveloped in a sauce that struck a perfect balance between sweet and savory. The rice was neither dry nor overcooked, and it had great flavor and texture. The California roll, while basic, was still quite good.
