"Every visit brings a slightly different flavor experience. Sometimes the broth is rich, while other times it’s a bit lighter but still packed with flavor. I talk to the owners regularly, and they are genuinely dedicated to making the food taste great and providing excellent service. As a small business facing labor shortages, they work tirelessly to ensure a good customer experience. Everyone I’ve introduced to this place has loved the food. I highly recommend the jjang pong, gochujjapchae (eaten in the restaurant), Mongolian beef, and jja jjang myun, in that order.
You might wonder why I spend so much time traveling to Niles for this food. The truth is, I’ve tried many Korean restaurants in Chicago, and none come close to the flavor of their jjang pong. They often take shortcuts, resulting in a broth that is too light and lacking flavor. Please give this place a try; you won’t regret it. And if anyone doubts that I’ve visited more than 100 times in three years, just show them this review. They might even say I’m crazy for going so often—sometimes even multiple times a week!"
