"It’s a decent little place with what seemed like a grocery store tucked in at the back. I ordered the Chicken Gyro platter that comes with rice, pita breads, and feta cheese covered lettuce, tomatoes, and onions, and sides of tzatziki sauce and hummus (pictured). The rice was not fully cooked which was honestly confounding to me. The chicken part of the platter essentially consisted of thin slices of what I presume to be chicken sausages. But the part that really was illogical to me was that this place doesn’t offer drinking water. I presume one has to purchase a soda or bottled water. But I consider offering water to be a time-honored convention practiced since the time of Hammurabi. I don’t think I’ll be going here for lunch anytime soon."

"This place is okay, but nothing special. I thought everything seemed a bit mushy (grape leaves, falafel). I was also put off by the place in general. It didn't seem clean. Dirty tables and floors. I had to wipe down our table and seats myself. The woman working behind the counter was a little bit rude. I didn't hate it, but I wouldn't go back. Overall, it felt very unwelcoming...like they would rather you take your food and get out."

"Looove the lamb shank and they are nice. Have only gotten takeout.Edit: not sure if they still make lamb shank but went again and had a chicken platter. Sat down to eat at the little table they have and it was soooo good. Their tea is the best. It tastes like the tea I had at a luxury spa in another country. Sometimes I stop by just to get tea. They are always so welcoming."

"I recently had the best gyro with tzatziki sauce I've had in a long time! After a disappointing experience with Urban Gyro last year, I was hesitant, but I'm so glad I gave Urban Pita another chance. Tonight's meal was fantastic. The pita was soft and fresh, loaded with tender, juicy meat, crisp lettuce, and tangy tomatoes. I found myself wishing I had ordered extra tzatziki sauce. The lassi was a delightful surprise—a creamy mango-flavored yogurt drink that looked as good as it tasted! I'm really glad they were open. The delivery driver was attentive, friendly, and followed my instructions perfectly. I will definitely be ordering from Urban Pita again. Thank you!"

"I eat here frequently and almost always order to go. It’s my favorite beef gyro in KC and there are many great runner ups! My favorite part is the sauce and the consistency of the food. Whether I order for a large group of friends or just to satisfy my own craving, it’s always perfection. "Customer service was great. We got both the chicken beef plates. It was really good with the rice vegetables but could of used a little more meat. Ate it as a salad since we only had 4 triangles of pita. I'd suggest the white sauce and or hummus to keep it being so dry. Warning the hot sauce is off the chart hot."
