"It's amusing to read some reviews about inconsistent service, as my experience was quite the opposite. My server was incredibly pleasant, and the staff overall were friendly, greeting us when we arrived and as we left. Plus, there's a huge advantage to this location being just a few blocks from Barclays Center, which is notoriously challenging for parking. They offer a lot for diners, which is just perfect (and free!). I came in for lunch and left completely satisfied. My girlfriend and I ordered the chicharrón de pollo—mine was boneless, and she had hers with the bone. We also got a piña colada and some tostones as extras. The piña colada was good, but not outstanding; however, the tostones were spot on, and I thoroughly enjoyed my boneless chicken with rice and red beans. They check your vaccine card at the entrance, so be prepared for that before you’re seated. There’s plenty of seating and a nice, calm atmosphere for lunch. I definitely plan to return!"
