"Lots of food on the floor, very dirty . Asked to be seated on outdoor patio but was told people with reservations get those….. I explained we had reservations and was still told they “might be booked”. Two out of available tables when we got there were still empty when we left. We were seated by the door to the kitchen at a table that was so small I couldn’t even fit my legs under comfortably. When I asked if we could switch away from kitchen was told once again tables were reserved. I made a reservation for this place a couple days in advance and was never asked “which table” I wanted. Did I mention I was also staying at The Boathouse Inn, their hotel and not once was any such “rules or preferences mentioned”. Food was fair at best. Scallops were still sandy, the lobster in the lobster rice was so Over-cooked it was reduced to chalky mush. The prices there are par for the course for Maine but not a fair price for the meal that was served by any means. Will NEVER go there again. Great disappointment!"
