"My wife and I celebrated her birthday here, and we highly recommend it for people who are serious about interesting and well executed food, a calming atmosphere, and exquisitely attentive and thoughtful service. Appetizers had mixed results: The chicken livers were super crunchy and tasty, if a tiny bit overcooked. The grilled romaine was a great idea but needed more of a Caesar y bite in the dressing. We thoroughly enjoyed our entrée choices: a perfectly cooked medium ribeye with potatoes au gratin and cold carrot salad; and the local marinated then grilled pork chops with spaetzle and roasted broccoli. The dinner rolls are unique and delicious almost a cross between a great buttery biscuit and a pillowy soft yeast roll. Addictive. Service was unmatched on every front, from the initial greeting, to our server, to the chef himself coming out to talk to us (one of us has food allergies)! We felt perfectly taken care of and will definitely go back time and time again. We highly recommend you try it out, too!"
