"Well, as promised, I gave Medures a second chance after 2 weeks ago. This was an exceptional experience and the way I remember Medures. "I suppose it is difficult for a restaurant to live up to it's hype and high reviews, but those very things led me to be a bit disappointed in the overall experience. I thought I'd be wowed and I was not. It was okay overall but not worth the cost. Our food came out after a reasonable time, however our drinks had not yet been served. When they were finally delivered, they did apologize and comped the drinks without us saying a word to them, so the fact that they realized there was a problem and fixed it, seems like a good sign that they're on the right track."

"Brunch was great! We did the bubbles brunch and for 2hrs with the tasting and champagne it’s really a great deal. You get to taste everything in all four categories and then reorder what you really like. We really liked the challah toast, potatoes and eggs, fruit options, and the chicken meatballs. It also seems like they swap some things out here and there. The only thing we didn’t really like were the chairs, they weren’t the most comfortable overall."

"We arrived at 1:20PM on a Monday. It took 10 mins to get seated. Then another 30 to get out order taken. The highlight of the entire experience was the starter we got. It was chips and shrimp with an aioli dip. We ordered the pasta as an entree and the shrimp sliders. It took an hour for us to get this. The pasta tasted like canned pasta or like the pasta itself had been boiled in hotel room tap water. Disgusting. We even tried to masking the taste by asking for the dip that cake with the starters to mix into the pasta. Again, we did this because we had waited so long and were so hungry. It was absolutely horrible. Who can’t make a simple bolognese? The shrimp fritters had a pungent fish smell. My friend couldn’t even finish one slider. We asked to speak to the manager and explained our concerns to him and he apologised and took the entrees off the bill. What’s crazy is that he did not seem surprised- this is very telling because it goes to show that they know their food is trash. They took the food away and we sat for another 40 mins waiting for them to bring the bill. We were only able to leave at 3:30PM. There is no excuse for why everything took so long. This is the worst service I have received at any restaurant. Will definitely not be returning and would suggest you do not even give them a chance. Waste of time and money."

"Wonderful Experience from the moment we walked in the door. The staff is OUTSTANDING, even the managers made sure our experience was a great one. We had the pleasure to sit in Chris section on a busy Friday evening. The attention to detail was very impressive. Chris recommended a great bourbon for me to have in my old fashion. Josh was assisting Chris all evening to ensure we had everything we needed. My husband had a great IPA to start and Chris helped him pick out a great Pinot Noir for dinner. The wine, beer and bourbon selection is top notch. We loved so many things on the menu we ordered several starters. My favorite was the bone marrow that comes with a great toast and herbs, it was fantastic! My husband had the Oysters which were a top quality from the northeast, he said the horseradish was the best he had ever had. He even order a little extra for his steak. I had a filet cooked Pittsburg Rare, which is a very hard way to cook it but the Chef did it perfectly! The peppercorn and blue cheese sauces were great additions to our steaks. The Brussels spouts, mushroom were our additional sides that just paired amazing with the steaks. The steaks come with Green Beans and Mashed Potatoes. Our date night was such a precious one and the environment in the restaurant made it a romantic one. This place was full of groups as well that looked to be having a great time. To add the cherry on top of the evening Chris recommended a Butter Cake dessert. We were both so full from our dinner but my sweet tooth decided to try it. Wow, it was outstanding! I'm a southern lady who loves her desserts. This cake was light but had a wonderful flavor to it. It had a glaze, strawberries and strawberry ice cream. I am not able to have a lot of dairy and the ice cream was very light as well. By far the best dessert I have had in a long while. My husband and I drove into Colorado Springs for a date night after a very long stressful work week. The staff, especially Chris and Josh made our evening exactly what we both needed. This will be an evening we both will cherish and we are so grateful for the wonderful experience. Thank you all at Cowboy Star!! This place is a pure Gem!"

"We spent the day at Goose Rocks Beach and didn't have the opportunity to bring a picnic for the beach. As an option The Tides is right across the street from the beach and we had a great lunch there. It's casual enough that we could go in our shorts and t shirt; and the sea air flows through the restaurant. The staff was really kind and it was a great place to catch a delicious lunch. I think some of the reviews are unfair; I'm sure the staff would have happily corrected replaced a dish that wasn't to ones liking if given the chance our experience suggested they were very guest friendly. "During our stay at the Sheraton, we chose to eat at this hotel restaurant for the convenience after a long day. Unfortunately, there were no tables for six available, so they kindly allowed us to use a back room all to ourselves. The food was decent—neither amazing nor terrible. However, the biggest drawback was the 35-minute wait for our meals. What started as a pleasant seating arrangement quickly turned into frustration from hunger! If you're a fan of crispy, hearty fries, the regular French fries are definitely better than the Parmesan fries. The forest mushroom pizza, on the other hand, was quite good. We don’t have much to say about the other dishes. Given the long wait time for food, we likely won't be returning."

"Our service was amazing. However, we ordered the A5 Wagyu steaks, 5oz and 8oz. Both cooked medium. They came out on the rare/medium rare side. My spouse asked for his to be brought up. When it came back it was still medium rare. So he asked for it to be cooked medium well. 2 more times back to the chefs later and it finally came out medium well. The server was overly apologetic we took care of her well. But the steaks just did not. I assumed being that level of a steak house they would know how to temp steaks. If not the first time then definitely the second. King crab legs and sides were amazing. But we came for steaks."

"Returned to Scales recently because the meal we had the first time a year ago was delicious. Unfortunately our first impression didn't hold up. Even with an online reservation the Maitre D gave us a hard time verifying we had a table. Really? Even with an early dinner reservation the place was loud and service really rushed. Always thought quick service was a good thing but this was way too fast like they want to get you outta there for the next diners. Some food like the lobster bisque was really great-but the salad, the scallops were totally average. Everything is overpriced. Noticed there weren't any specials and the menu pretty much the same as before. At this point they might just be dialing it in. Like dining at in a touristy noisy airplane hanger. Will pass on next time- whole experience was meh."

"TLDR: There are better options. Looking at other reviews, it seems this will be an outlier, however, in my opinion, there are better options in Breck. Food is ok but definitely not memorable and the service was really off for our visit on 7/3/24. We ordered two drinks, appetizer and two entrées. The drinks arrived last. Needless to say we didn’t bother with desert, as we’d still be there. I had the trout, which was ok, but again not particularly memorable. The sides that came with the trout (green beans and potato-bacon-shrimp hash) were grossly undercooked and were not edible as served. My wife had the crab cakes, served with rice, which proved to be the best thing in both meals. My wife did not finish the crab cakes (one of her favorite meals), which is a tell. Overall, we really wanted to like this place. It was not as busy a the surounding options which, in hindsight , may have been our first clue."

"The logo So good, so fresh, so close certainly does not live up to its name in part. It may be close depending on where one lives but is certainly not good and worse again is most certainly not fresh. The ambience is certainly cool and the waiting staff friendly and efficient but it all ends there. One oyster out of the selection ordered had gone completely off which was easily detected by the obnoxious smell something the chef should have noticed before serving and not left to the customer. The main course of seafood risotto was out of a jar as evidenced by the hard tasteless rolled up shrimp, rubbery calamari and processed scallop pieces. This is inexcusable for a restaurant of this supposed calibre. It certainly boasts enough about its quality and freshness but certainly does not deliver. The only saving grace was a very nice and pleasant young waiter and a Manager who apologized profusely that the seafood was indeed not fresh. I made a polite suggestion as to what should be done with a chef who is essentially trying to swindle the customer by serving such appalling slop. When spending one 's hard earned cash one wants to get value for money irrespective of the cost and not a night full of bad food and sincere apologies. I have irreversibly turned against Turners."

"we have tried to like macs several times, but are constantly disappointed about the quality of the food. the waiting staff is friendly, but the direction for the (more) dishes is always missing. Last time I arrived to pick up my order, the manager was openly rude and unrespectful to the house personnel before me, which I thought was unacceptable. I recently had a call-out order in which two of three had a problem. one was wrong and the other had raw chicken. I called to inform and address, and they told me I could go back to get a spare chicken. No, thanks. At some point, a manager was brought into contact and the chicken court was refunded. they try it, and maybe they are struggling with problems of teamwork experience, but only a lot of misfortunes all around. prices are high for the opposite, and while I know seafood is not cheap cache, the rest of the dishes and cash are also expensive. poorly worth and missed execution leads to a place I would avoid in the future."

"Went there with the intent on have a similar time as at the Triumph in Princeton. The food and beer menu were not the same but good nonetheless. The service was good for us but as we left it was getting crowded and it looked like they needed more waitstaff. One thing are the seats, very uncomfortable, like sitting in flat slabs of wood with a verticals straight back. May want to add a pillow or something"
