"I have been eating here for many many years, and spend tons of wonderful times with my closest friends and family eating delicious bánh cu?n, vegetarian at that. However, it is with deepest regrets that I have to leave this review. I overheardthat this restaurant does not allow workers to accept tips when the tip is given under either 20% of the meal price or $20 andunder (I don?t remember which). In other words, workers may accept tips from customers when it is either above 20% of the mealprice or above $20. This deeply saddens me, because I won?t feel right eating at a place I love so much knowing they don?ttreat their workers right. I hope to come back one day, because I love their food."

"Ordered online but had to call 20 minutes after placing order because I never received a confirmation. They didn't check the system until that moment (this has actually happened twice now ordering from them). Which defeats the purpose of ordering onlineand in advance if I still have to call and my ordered is not even confirmed or started, much less ready by the time I get there.I ordered what totaled $70 worth of food [with tip]. O of the menu items I ordered they were out of and substituted forsomething else. I got home and was another menu item was missing most of the items. I recieved the bowl of noodles but no meat,broth or toppings in the bag for the pho. Of what menu items we ordered and did get home, I wouldn't say any of it was verygood. The spicy beef stew wasn't very flavorful or spicy and was full of more skin and fat than actual beef. The chicken wontonsoup with barbecue pork smelled and tasted soooo strongly of fish we couldn't eat more than a few bites before tossing it out.And the chicken plate was also pretty bland. Both attempts trying Pho Tai have been disappointing, and I am pretty sure I won'tbe ordering from there again."

"I visited this restaurant for the first time and found it to be incredibly stylish and unique compared to other Vietnamese eateries. The food was delightful, although the portions were a bit on the smaller side. It appears to be a favorite among locals! Overall, I would rate it as follows: Food: 5, Service: 5, Atmosphere: 5. I had lunch there, and the price per person was around $20–30."

"Terrible service! It wasn't even that busy, yet the waitress handed us the menu and never returned to take our order. We waited for 15 minutes without anyone coming to check on us, while she just kept cleaning other tables. It was really frustrating!"

"What I love most about this restaurant is the abundance of fresh vegetables they serve. Their banh xeo comes with generous bundles of veggies, and you can tell they put in the effort to clean them thoroughly and serve only the freshest options. The banh xeo itself is a must-try—it's enormous and perfectly crispy. I also enjoy their broth dishes and pandan waffles! I make it a point to visit as often as possible because their food is so comforting. I've also heard that their Che chuoi, a Vietnamese dessert made with banana, coconut, and tapioca, is excellent. I’ll definitely give it a try on my next visit!"
