"When she returned to take our food order, she didn’t say anything, just stared at us with an aggressive demeanor. I ordered Pho Tai Nam, a well-known dish at any Vietnamese restaurant, and she snapped, saying “I’m not Vietnamese, just tell me the number.” I may not be Vietnamese, but I always try to show respect for different cultures. My husband was taken aback by her tone and simply stated the number of the dish he wanted (Bun Bo Hue). While the food itself was acceptable, we were so put off by the poor service that it barely mattered at that point.
In light of the experience, we left a smaller tip than usual to reflect the service we received. As we were leaving, the waitress noticed the tip and approached my husband aggressively, loudly asking, “Excuse me, was there something you didn’t like?!?” He straightforwardly replied, “I didn’t like your service. You were extremely rude from the start.” To which she retorted, “You thought I was rude?!” He went on to cite examples of her rudeness and wished her a good day. It felt like she was trying to embarrass us in front of other customers.
After considering my experience, I wasn’t surprised to find similar complaints in other reviews. I recommend avoiding this restaurant and not wasting your hard-earned money here."
