"Mark 's Feed Store is one of the top rated BBQ joints in Louisville, showing up in almost every 10 ten BBQ in Louisville list that I googled. I was excited to try this place as I had a tremendous experience at another local BBQ place the night before. Iordered a combo plate that gives you a sampling of 4 of their meats 3 ribs, pulled pork, brisket and honey wings. I got thefries and mac n cheese for my two sides. IMO, the reason to come to Mark 's the ribs. Fantastic flavor, moist and meaty. Handsdown my favorite of the 4 meats 5 stars. Next the honey wings. It had lots of breading, but was still so good. The honey saucemakes these wings next level good. I would 've liked a little heat with the honey but still 5 stars for the wings. Next, thepulled pork wasn 't bad, it was just average, not a ton of smoked flavor. 3 stars for the pork. Then comes the brisket. It wasmore like a pot roast texture, stringy. It was dry and lacked flavor. I was disappointed. The sides were good with the friesbeing better than the mac n cheese, but both good. Their original sauce is mustard based and was very, very good. Their redsauce was ok. Service was good with extra points for the super perky hostess. Also, Mark 's is reasonably priced for BBQ. I 'dcome back for the ribs and wings for sure. Maybe it was an off night for the other meats."
