"I've written about Druthers before, but after my recent visit and seeing some unfavorable reviews, I felt it was necessary to share my thoughts again. Druthers Brewing has become our go-to spot whenever we're in Albany. This was our fifth visit, and we never seem to tire of it.
The macaroni and cheese is absolutely phenomenal—packed with delicious and creative flavors. The portions are generous, and while we usually each get our own, this time we decided to share one. We also ordered some tacos to split, and once again, our meal was perfect, just as it has been in the past.
The service here is consistently very good, but this time it was exceptional. Our waitress was not only friendly but also engaging, and we enjoyed several pleasant conversations with her about various topics, including travel and food. It felt relaxed and enjoyable without being intrusive.
During our trip to Saratoga, we discovered there's another Druthers location there, as well as in other places. Whenever we're in or near Albany, we will always choose Druthers for amazing food (especially the mac and cheese), great beer, a fantastic atmosphere, and excellent service. The only drawback is that parking can be tricky when they're busy, but we always seem to find a spot.
