"Had a late lunch this week at the Mimosa House in El Dorado Hills Towncenter and sat outside.. Service was fair and I say that because I had coffee and was never asked if I wanted a refill. Otherwise, service was good as was the food we ordered. However, the ambience was terrible. The surroundings were nice but the background noise/music was very unappetizing. First the music selection was horrible for anyone over 21. It was so bad that that alone would having me not coming back. But, in addition, there was competing music coming from the immediate next door restaurant. The mix of the two was very unpleasant. Maybe they could get together and play the same music and music that is mellow, dining friendly music. Oh, and, just to add to the noise hubbub, the upstairs restaurant started doing some sort of continued very loud grinding, scraping sound on their deck that was immediately above where we were. The mix of the three irritating sound issues resulted in a very unpleasnt experience."
