"I had called in my order of General Tso's chicken with vegetable fried rice (not just plain white rice), a spring roll, and half an order of crab Rangoon. When she brought the bag, I also requested a passion fruit jasmine tea with light ice. She prepared it in front of me using a metal cup filled with a thick syrup, mixed it, and then began pouring in ice. I had to remind her to keep it light on the ice, and she stopped.
My total was $48.81. Why was it so expensive? I couldn’t resist eating the spring roll and some crab Rangoon while driving home. I was eagerly anticipating my chicken with all the delicious broccoli. But when I lifted the lid, I was surprised to find a breaded and fried chicken in a red sauce—no broccoli in sight. Is this how they make General Tso's chicken in Maine? If so, I won't be coming back to this restaurant again."
