"I was greeted right away by the friendly staff and chose to sit at the bar. I actually wondered if they served food and had to ask for the menu before deciding to stay. The servers and bartenders were very friendly and attentive, though there seemed to be some language barriers that were manageable. The ambiance was typical of a local dive bar, with a rather informal dining area that felt more like just a few unkempt cocktail tables.
The menu offered a limited selection of Mexican dishes, along with some burgers, cheesesteaks, and chicken sandwiches. We ordered a burrito and tacos, along with water and a Coke. The food arrived relatively quickly and looked appealing, prepared in an authentic style. However, the portion sizes were not very generous. Each dish came with an incredible habanero hot sauce, which truly elevated the meal—without it, I would have felt quite disappointed. Nevertheless, we both enjoyed what we ordered.
One downside was the pricing; everything felt a bit overpriced—$5 for water, $5 for Coke, $15 for the burrito, and $15 for three tacos. Although it was expensive, the menu did clearly display the prices upfront.
While I probably wouldn’t return, I did have a unique experience at this place. It's definitely a hole-in-the-wall but didn’t give off the vibe of being a hidden gem. Ultimately, it’s just a bar."
